I'm A Swan....

If you know me at all you know I hate pictures of myself. I love taking pictures, looking at pictures and editing pictures but when it comes to me being in them I do NOT like it. But I've decided to help me LOVE every part of me, yes that includes my face, then I'm going to try to take more pictures of myself and not shy away from the camera any longer. I love who I am and I'm even good with my body most of the time but I don't have the most photogenic face, I can see myself in the mirror and I think hmmm, I look pretty good today but then I see a photo and think man is that what I really look like!! And after taking tons of pictures I've realized unaltered photos are honest and can not lie so yep that really is me that looks so GREAT (cough, cough) in all my photos. So to help me on this process I collaged a bunch of photos I have on my computer, even ones I don't like at all.

Our-True-Identity

So not only am I swan but I'm also a child of God and he gave me the face that I have and so I will be and am grateful. I have so much to be thankful for and the Lord has blessed me with so much, how can I complain. As I learn more and more about myself I see all my flaws and shortcomings but I also see the potential and the depth that I have. Knowing these things about myself I can see who the Lord wants me to become and I can work on my flaws!! It's amazing and one day I may just be a perfect swan. So from ugly duckling to swan to perfect swan I go!!!
